Orders and pricing
CompostFit is sold for $39.99 per unit plus a flat $5 shipping & handling fee. Prices are in U.S. dollars and are subject to change; the price shown at checkout is the price you pay. Applicable sales tax is calculated at checkout. We may cancel or refuse any order — for example, if an item is mispriced, out of stock, or the order appears fraudulent — and we will refund you in full if we do.
Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card is charged when you place your order. CompostFit does not receive or store your full payment card details. By paying, you confirm you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
Shipping and delivery
We ship within the United States. Orders ship within 3–6 business days, and we email tracking as soon as your order is on its way. Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees — once a package is handed to the carrier, transit time is outside our control. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery to the address you provided.
Returns and refunds
Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund & Return Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Product use
CompostFit is a household compost insert designed for Rev-A-Shelf RV-35 and RV-50 pull-out trash cans. It is intended for ordinary residential kitchen use. Use it as described in the product materials — do not place it in an oven, microwave, or over an open flame, and do not use it to store or transport hazardous materials. Fit descriptions are provided in good faith; please confirm your can model before ordering.
Compliance information
Information on this site about California's SB 1383 or any other organic waste law is provided for general background only and is not legal advice. Requirements vary by jurisdiction and hauler. Purchasing CompostFit does not by itself guarantee compliance with any law or ordinance.
Intellectual property
The CompostFit name, logo, product design, site content, photography, and copy are owned by CompostFit, Inc. and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them commercially without our written permission.
Warranty disclaimer
Except where prohibited by law, products are provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable rights you have under applicable consumer protection law, including California law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CompostFit's total liability arising out of or related to your purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for the product at issue. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

Our handling of your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll revise the date above when we do, and the version posted at the time of your order governs that order.
